Ironic: IBM Unveils Healthcare Island on Second Life

  • I didn't see the commercial as anti-SL at all, but rather that you can be present in a virtual world, but if you simply exist and not focus (if you want to do so from a business perspective) you need to do a lot more and really exploit was is possible. The fact that IBM then follows up with a new Healthcare-related island experience shows one way to do that, from what I can see.

  • I guess different people see the ad differently. Perhaps we should see their most recently foray into SL as IBM showing the rest of us how to do it better.
